Tandem paraglider flying above the Karklė cliff and the Baltic Sea

Paragliding over the Karklė coast

I’ll take you above Karklė.

I’m Marius. I fly tandem from the Karklė cliff, straight along the Baltic shore. No experience, no gear, no preparation. Just you, me and the sea wind.

How a flight works

You write to me

A message on Instagram or a call. We pick a day and watch the forecast together.

We meet in Karklė

On the cliff, twenty minutes from Klaipėda. I bring all the gear; the briefing takes five minutes.

Three steps, then silence

A few running steps and the ground lets go. After that it’s only wind and the sea below.

About me

Sixteen years of the same wind.

I first launched from the Karklė cliff at nineteen and never really wandered off. I hold a tandem pilot licence, have over 1200 flights, and a habit of calling off the day if I don’t like the wind.

I don’t fly people in batches. A few pairs a day, so nobody is rushed and we can sit on the cliff waiting for the right moment.

What people ask

What if the weather is bad?

We fly only when the wind is right. I check the forecast a day ahead, and if it doesn’t hold we move your day at no cost.

Is there a weight limit?

Between 30 and 100 kg. If you’re near the edge, write to me — usually a different wing solves it.

Is it safe?

I hold a current tandem licence, fly a certified wing and carry a reserve parachute. Gear is checked before every flight, and if I’m unsure, we don’t fly.

What should I wear?

Trainers and a jacket — the coast is always cooler than it looks from town. Helmet and harness come from me.
